At a trade show or conference, it’s often necessary to convey the message effectively. What better way to do this than with a large screen? Sometimes a single screen is not enough, and you need something bigger. A videowall is the perfect solution for this.

What is a videowall?

A videowall is a combination of multiple small TV screens that together form a larger screen. Once connected, you have one large video screen. This video wall consists of a 2 x 2 configuration. This means it is built up of 4 TV screens. These are not regular TV screens, but special TVs from the renowned brand Samsung. Each TV has a powerful processor on board that can determine the orientation and position within the videowall.

The thin 5.2mm bezel of the 46″ TV screens ensures an almost seamless connection. Once combined, this results in a video screen with a diagonal of 233cm in a 2 x 2 configuration. This large screen is full HD and has the quality you would expect from high-end Samsung TV screens.

What mounting options are possible?

A major advantage of this is that you have an affordable solution for a relatively large screen. Additionally, unlike projection, you don’t have to worry about light exposure or placement of a projector. A video wall can be placed on a stand or mounted on a strong (wooden) wall. It can also be integrated into a nicely constructed exhibition wall. Given the vulnerability of the screens and the technical expertise required for assembly, we always recommend having us carry out the installation. Once mounted, however, the large screen is easy to operate.

How does the screen control work?

We recommend renting the videowall in combination with a mini-PC or laptop from our rental inventory. These already have software installed that is optimized for the screen. These devices can automatically restart the presentation even after an unintended restart due to, for example, a power failure. This is very convenient if you want to use the videowall for a trade show or conference.
