A truss square is the most common truss setup. This construction on four legs can be built in a square or rectangular shape. The structure is easily customizable and can be used for any type of exhibition stand or event due to its design. A truss square fits corner stands, head stands, inline stands, or island stands. A truss square gives you the opportunity to apply advertising on each side of the stand. Additionally, you can distribute any exhibition lighting symmetrically across the stand.

How do I adjust the truss square to the dimensions of my stand space?

The standard truss square package as offered on this page is 7 x 7 x 3 meters (length x width x height). However, the truss construction can be adjusted to the dimensions of your stand space. We’re happy to do this for you. Therefore, please send us an email with the depth, width, and desired height of the truss frame, and we will send you a custom quote. Alternatively, you can request the product through the rental shop and mention the dimensions in the comments field. We will then adjust the quote for you to match the dimensions of your stand space.

Which truss color should I choose for my truss square?

At the top of this page, you can select the truss color. We offer silver-colored truss and black truss. Which truss color is suitable for your application depends on several factors. Silver-colored truss is more affordable than black truss. So if budget is a constraint, we recommend choosing silver-colored truss. It’s also important to consider how much of the truss will be visible to the public. If this is not or hardly the case, for example due to banners or stand furnishings, then silver-colored truss is a good option.

If you prefer to create a more luxurious atmosphere, we recommend using black truss. By switching between ‘silver’ or ‘black’ at the top of the page, you can easily adjust the truss color to your preference.

Which lighting should I choose for my exhibition stand?

In addition to the truss color, you can also choose to add lighting. This lighting can be mounted on the truss to ensure your stand space is well-lit. If you already have lighting for your exhibition stand, you can keep the ‘without lighting’ option selected. Otherwise, you have the choice between ‘cool white’ or ‘warm white’ lighting. Cool white light is mostly found at exhibitions where color accuracy and product details in the stand matter. Think of displays for cars, jewelry, or equipment. Warm white light is used at exhibitions and events where atmosphere is important. Think of food, luxury items, convention, or furniture.

When should I add truss lifts to my rental request for the truss square?

Truss lifts are necessary for the assembly and disassembly of truss systems. If you’re assembling and disassembling yourself and have truss lifts available, you can choose the already selected option ‘I have my own truss lifts’. If you want us to handle the assembly and disassembly, or if you’re doing it yourself but don’t have access to truss lifts, select the option where truss lifts are added.

Can I handle the assembly and disassembly of a truss square myself?

If you have an affinity for technology and have worked with truss before, you should theoretically be able to perform the assembly and disassembly of a truss construction like the truss square. However, if it’s your first time or you’re not technically inclined, we recommend using our assembly and disassembly service. After all, a truss construction is a structure placed above the public. It’s therefore important that this is done correctly and safely. Assembly and disassembly by the Rental Supplier can be added when making your request.

What transport volume should I consider when transporting a truss square?

This depends on the final dimensions of the truss construction. Based on the basic construction as offered on this page, you should account for a furniture truck with a loading platform.

What is the ground cable that you offer among the extras?

At some exhibition locations such as the Amsterdam RAI or Jaarbeurs Utrecht, an earth cable is mandatory for truss constructions. This is to absorb any static charge on the truss construction. This prevents it from being transferred to visitors who might touch the structure. It’s always advisable to add and install this product. This way, you won’t have to organize it unexpectedly at the last moment if it turns out to be mandatory at your exhibition location.

Can I add exhibition carpet to my rental request?

Absolutely. The Rental Supplier is a one-stop-shop for all exhibition technology. And that includes exhibition carpet. You can add this per square meter via the extras. Add the width times the length of your stand area for a fully covering exhibition carpet. When making your request, you can indicate the desired color in the comments box. This will then be processed for you in the quote. Exhibition carpet is a one-time use product and therefore cannot be returned (used or unused) when returning the rental materials.

I also need TV screens, laptops, iPads and other AV equipment, do you provide these as well?

Everything you can find in our online rental shop can be easily added to your rental request. We provide everything from lighting to audio and from TV screens to IT equipment. How do I add a banner to my request?

The truss square is suitable for attaching a banner on multiple sides. This way you can quickly brand the entire exhibition stand with your corporate identity. The Rental Supplier can also facilitate the banner and its installation for you. Adding a banner to your request is done per square meter under ‘extras’ on this page. Take the full side of the truss square where you want the banner and calculate the square meters (width x height). For multiple banners, you can add up the square meters.

When making your request, you can provide more information about the banners in the ‘comments’ section. Please note that 14 working days prior to the first working day are needed to print the banner for you. Banners are a purchase product and cannot be returned (used or unused) when returning the rental order.

Do you also charge for the set-up breakdown days of the exhibition?

No. The Rental Supplier only charges for the effective visitor days of an exhibition. These are also the only days you need to indicate when making your request. Specify in the comments which day you wish to pick up and return and we will adjust the proposal for you. If your exhibition or trade show is abroad and you expect more transport and/or set-up breakdown days, also indicate this in the comments and we will make a custom proposal for you.
