Rent wireless microphones
Need a wireless microphone for your event? At Rental Supplier we offer a wide range of wireless microphones. From handheld microphones to tie clip and from headset microphones to Catchbox.
Can I connect a wireless microphone to anything?
A wireless microphone needs a sound system with a microphone input to function. This microphone input must have an XLR (3-pin) connection. The receiver is connected to this. The receiver then communicates with the wireless microphone and sends this signal to the sound system. Do you not have a sound system or mixer to connect a microphone to? Then we recommend that you look at our ready-made sound systems with wireless microphones. You can find these under the ‘Presentation & Speech‘ section of our complete sound sets in the rental shop. What about the frequencies?
All wireless microphones in our rental range work digitally and are suitable for the frequency range that has been released for wireless microphones in the Netherlands (470 – 694 MHz). However, we always recommend scanning the environment of use for frequencies that are already in use. You can do this by ‘searching’ for free frequencies in the receiver menu. Make sure that the transmitter and receiver are both set to the same free frequency.
I want to rent a wireless microphone and use it abroad, what now?
Contact one of the audio advisors of the Rental Supplier. Together we will see which frequencies are available in the destination country and whether the above products can be used there.
When do I need an external antenna set?
You may have already seen the product among the wireless microphone range. The antenna set. This is a set consisting of two flag antennas and a signal splitter. As a rule, you need an external antenna set if you are going to use more than one receiver (so from 3 channels, since all our receivers are two-channel). Or when you use the receiver and transmitter more than 20 meters apart. The antennas in the antenna set are directional. This means that they must be aimed at the area of use of the wireless microphone in question.
