What’s the difference between a stage with and without finishing?

At the top of this page, you can choose whether you want to order the stage with or without finishing. For an unfinished stage, only the necessary materials for fully setting up the round stage are provided. You can still see the legs and the wooden top of the stage parts. For a finished stage, skirting for the sides and carpet for the top are included. The skirting is black and pleated, and the carpet is anthracite in color. This gives your stage a neat appearance. Ideal when an unfinished industrial look is not the desired effect.

What stage height should I choose?

In addition to the finishing level, you also need to indicate the desired height at the top of this page. The height you need depends on several factors. What is the stage for? How high is the location? From what distance will the audience be looking at the speaker on the stage? For a low ceiling in a small space, we recommend a 20cm high stage. The most commonly used configuration is a 40cm high stage. This is for medium-sized locations with high ceilings. For larger locations with high ceilings, you can choose from a 60cm, 80cm, or 100cm high stage.

Does this stage come with stairs?

Round stages do not come with a staircase as standard. This is because a stage staircase cannot be directly mounted to the round side of the stage. This means that custom solutions are often devised to create a stage staircase. If you still want a step for a round stage, please contact us. We’d be happy to discuss the possibilities with you.

Can I transport a stage myself?

That depends. A round stage doesn’t fit in a passenger car. You need to transport it in a van, which requires a loading space of more than 2 meters. If you meet the minimum of rented equipment, you can also choose to use our transport service. In that case, it will be delivered and picked up at the location.

Can I also rent individual parts of a round stage?

Round stages are rented as a whole at the Rental Supplier. Unfortunately, you can’t rent individual parts of a round stage. Of course, you can choose to rent a round stage and only pick up a portion.

How much weight can this stage hold?

Our round stage is suitable for a maximum stage load of 750kg/m2. This means that each square meter of the stage can support a maximum of 750 kilos. In reality, it’s difficult to reach such a high load on a stage of this size. For specific technical information about a round stage, you can look at the manufacturer’s website.

Is the stage easy to set up dismantle?

Certainly. Anyone can set up dismantle a round stage. The system is very intuitive and easy to assemble. Keep in mind that you always need two people to set up or dismantle a stage.

Can I further style the finish of a stage to my liking?

That’s possible to a certain extent. We offer the option to use other carpet colors such as red and blue. If you have another color in mind, please contact us to discuss the possibilities. Event carpet is often used for stages. We can order this custom-made for you, so you have the right size and color for your stage. The carpet then still needs to be cut from square to round. This is easily done with a carpet cutter.

How do I set up this stage?

Take a stage section and slide the legs into the stage leg holders at the bottom. Secure them with the leg clamp in the stage sections. Do this until you have all stage decks standing on the floor. Slide them together to create the round shape of the stage and connect them at the bottom with the provided stage clamp(s). The stage is now set up. If you have also booked finishing, you can attach the skirting to the side of the stage using Velcro or double-sided tape, depending on the option provided. Finally, stick double-sided tape (provided) 10cm from the outer edge on top of the round stage. You attach the carpet to this. A roll of event carpet still needs to be cut round with a carpet knife.
