What’s the difference between a catwalk with and without finishing?

Above, you can choose between renting a finished and unfinished catwalk. Renting an unfinished catwalk is the most economical, but it may not always fit the event setting. In that case, you might want a finished catwalk. An unfinished catwalk has no covering on the sides and no carpet on top. This means you can see the wood of the stage section. A finished catwalk has a black skirt along the sides and an anthracite carpet on top.

What height of catwalk should I choose?

At the top of this page, you can choose the height of your catwalk. Renting a catwalk has never been easier. The height you need depends on several factors, such as whether the audience is sitting or standing, how large the space is, and how high the ceiling is. For a low ceiling in a small space, we recommend a 20cm high catwalk. The most common configuration is a 40cm high catwalk. This is for medium-sized locations with a high ceiling. For larger locations, you can choose from 60cm, 80cm, or 100cm high catwalks.

Is there a staircase included with this catwalk?

Two stage stairs are included with this catwalk. Stage stairs start with stages from 40cm. You can mount these stage stairs anywhere on the catwalk you want. So you can rent a catwalk without worrying about its accessibility.

Can I rent a catwalk and transport it myself?

That depends. A catwalk doesn’t fit in a passenger car. You need to transport it in a van with a cargo space of at least 2 meters. This catwalk consists of six decks of 2 by 1 meter. If you meet the minimum rental equipment requirement, you can also choose to use our transport service. In that case, it will be delivered and picked up on location.

How much weight can this catwalk handle?

Our catwalks are suitable for a maximum load of 750kg/m2. This means that each square meter of the catwalk can carry a maximum of 750 kilos. In reality, it’s difficult to reach such a high load on such a surface. For the exact technical specifications, you can check the website of the manufacturer.

Is this catwalk easy to set up and dismantle?

Certainly. Anyone can rent a catwalk and set it up and dismantle it themselves. The system is very intuitive and easy to assemble. Keep in mind that you always need two people to set up or dismantle a catwalk.

Can I further style the finishing of a catwalk according to my wishes?

That’s possible to a certain extent. We offer the option to use other carpet colors such as red and blue. If you have another color in mind, please contact us to discuss the possibilities. Renting a catwalk can be customized to your needs.

How do I set up this catwalk?

Take a stage section and slide the legs into the four corners at the bottom. Clamp these in place with the leg clamp in the stage section. Do this until you have all stage decks on the floor. Slide these together and connect them at the bottom with the provided stage clamp(s). Then mount the stage stairs at the desired location. You do this by mounting the bolts on the stairs in the sliding profile on the outside of the stage.

Then click the Velcro profiles onto the edge around the stage. You can attach the stage skirt to this. Finally, stick double-sided tape (provided) 10cm from the outer edge on top of the stage. Start laying the carpet from one corner in a checkerboard pattern. Use the arrows on the bottom of the carpet tiles to easily determine the direction of the carpet fibers while laying.
